Despite the growing mountain of evidence against him, the Zimmerman case is a clear example of how heavy the burden of proof is for prosecuting the murder of a Black person by someone with white privilege.
Urging the “subhuman” to “rise” to the level of Western humanity. Sounds like a suggestion that instead of living in a culture one, as the minority, should always abide by what the mainstream majority deems appropriate. So I guess if that doesn’t happen and something goes wrong, such as getting shot due to “suspicion” of a crime by the majority, your culture is to blame. Or as Geraldo would put it, your hoody.
